Music Fonts
Sibelius Cloud supports the standard set of fonts that ship with Sibelius:
- Academico
- Arimo
- Figurato
- GothicA1
- Helsinki
- Inkpen2
- Lelandia
- Norfolk
- Opus
- Petaluma
- Pori
- Quicksand
- Reprise
- Tinos
You may need to edit your score in Sibelius to use a standard one of the standard fonts above. This guarantees that your score will appear the same on the internet as it does in Sibelius itself.
Text fonts
Because different operating systems differ in their default font support you cannot assume that all computers will have your favourite font installed.
Here's a safe list that you can stick to:
- Arial
- Comic Sans (!)
- Courier New
- Georgia
- Times New Roman
- Trebuchet MS
- Verdana
Other fonts may work well depending on your audience, but these are the most widely supported.
Font substitution
Sibelius Cloud Publishing uses the same font substitution algorithm that Sibelius itself uses. In other words, we'll always do our best to display your score even if it contains a font that isn't available. We do recommend checking your published scores to make sure they have the same visual appearance that you expect.
